Insurance Basics
What is a deductible?
A deductible is an amount that you're responsible for in the event of a loss. This is the amount you pay out-of-pocket, and insurance covers the remainder. Deductibles vary by plan and can range from $500 to several thousand dollars.
How can I make sure that I have coverage for my valuables?
When speaking with your agent to set up your policy, discuss any valuables you are concerned about and our agent can review your policy and recommend changes to ensure your valuables have proper coverage.
Do I need to get a new appraisal to renew or change my coverage?
No. You do not need a new home appraisal during the renewal or coverage change process. However, you may want to update coverage amounts if your property value has significantly changed.
What types of insurance do you offer?

What is secondary insurance and do I need it?
Secondary insurance helps cover medical deductibles and out-of-pocket costs that your primary major medical insurance doesn't cover. It requires you to have existing major medical coverage and can significantly reduce your healthcare expenses.
Are insurance rates protected?

What does secondary insurance exclude?
Secondary insurance typically excludes procedures not covered by your major medical insurance, doctor copays, prescription drugs (RX), and doctor fees. Coverage varies by plan.
How do I choose the right health insurance plan?

Medicare & Senior Coverage
When can I enroll in Medicare?
You can first enroll in Medicare during your Initial Enrollment Period, which begins 3 months before you turn 65 and ends 3 months after your 65th birthday. There are also Special Enrollment Periods and Annual Open Enrollment from October 15 to December 7.
What are the different parts of Medicare?
Medicare has four parts: Part A (hospital insurance), Part B (medical insurance), Part C (Medicare Advantage), and Part D (prescription drug coverage). Each part covers different healthcare services.
Do I need Medicare supplements?
Medicare supplements (Medigap) can help cover costs that Original Medicare doesn't pay, such as copayments, coinsurance, and deductibles. Our Medicare specialists can help you determine if a supplement plan is right for you.
